Monthly Meeting:
The first monthly meeting for Fall 2010 will be at the house of Penny Kouns on September 20th at 7pm. Please contact Lisa Stepp (Steppfam5(-at-)verizon.net) for further information. If you will participate in the Secret Sisters program, please fill out the form that can be found on the Women's Ministry Page. Directions to Penny's house can be found there as well.
Operation Christmas Child:
SEPTEMBER - Toys for GIRLS - Dolls, balls, stuffed animals, kazoos, jump ropes, yo-yos, harmonicas, small Etch A Sketch, toys that light up or make noise (with extra batteries), Slinky, etc.

AWANA Kickoff and Registration

Please fill out the registration form on the Website. Come to the Kickoff / Hotdog Supper September 12 between 5 and 7 p.m. Go to the registration table and sign the registration form you have submitted. At that time you will be able to talk with teachers and purchase supplies for your child.

Father-Child Night at the Races

On September 11th at 7pm, you will have the opportunity to spend some time with your child at Motor Mile Speedway watching the races. It is free admission to all who sign up in advance. There is a signup sheet on the table near the sound booth. Pastor Matthew will be opening the races with prayer and Mark Caldwell, III will be singing the national anthem.

Wednesday Night Bible Studies Fall 2010

We have new bible study classes starting up on Wednesday nights beginning Sept. 8th. There will be an "Experiencing God" class going on and Norris Lewis will be leading a class called "What in the World is Going On?". We are in need of knowing a rough estimate of people wanting to participate with each study so that books may be purchased. There is a signup sheet near the sound booth or you can call the church office at 382-0719.
Each of these studies will take place every Wednesday from 6:45 to 8:15 PM. In addition to these studies for adults the youth and children�s ministries will also meet at this time.

Men's Ministry Kickoff

After the long summer break our Men's Ministry will kick off again this coming Monday night at 6:45PM.
Message from Pastor Matthew:
"I am stoked about the fellowship and football that we'll enjoy on Monday. I am also excited about the Bible study we'll have in the coming months. If you have never been, I invite you to come out, take it in, and get to know some guys. If you have been 100 times I encourage you to come on out and welcome the newcomers. We will meet at the home of Amie and Tony Phillips, located at 1695 Blake Drive. We'll enjoy a huge spread of food, I'll share the ministry plans for the fall, and then we'll hang out and watch the broncos of Boise State take on the hokies of VT. This is going to be an exciting game. I just might even wear a hokie shirt that night. :) "
