GSBC needs YOU!
Help is urgently needed this Saturday and next week!
I am writing you again to update you on the building status and to make you aware of a few specific needs. Today, Thursday, June 23, the Baptist Builder crew should be finishing the load bearing walls in the basement. I have been working alongside of them this morning and it has been incredible participating in their labor. There is great progress being made but there is MUCH that needs to happen in the next three weeks. By the time that July 16 gets here we need to have all of the building walls and roof up. That sounds like an enormous goal, but we have been assured that the time frame is doable. However, for us to meet this deadline we need your help. I can't stress enough how vital it is that we meet this deadline. Having said that, here is what we need. 1) We need 8 male volunteers to work the majority of this Saturday. This work will not be complicated but will involve a lot of carrying and setting up of materials. 2) We need 5 volunteers a day for every day of next week. The Baptist Builder crew will have at least 8 here every day of next week, but we need at least five more on a daily basis. As I have seen today, everything that you need to know can be easily taught on site. Anyone who can carry materials to workers or use a drill or hold a metal stud in place - anyone can serve. I urge you to help us get to work this week and help us meet this deadline. Anytime you have available will be appreciated.
