Sisters of Grace

The ladies of Good Shepherd have ongoing fellowship and ministry opportunities that include special class series and conferences.

Monthly meetings are typically held on the 3rd Monday of each month.  Meetings rotate to various ladies homes.  Please contact Lisa Stepp for further information.   See the link on the right for directions.


Operation Christmas Child is a 'global Christmas gift exchange' project operated by Samaritan's Purse.  Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and the message of Gods unconditional love. 

GSBC?s Sisters of Grace would like to get a head start on this mission opportunity.  Our plan is to collect different items each month starting in June and pack the shoe boxes in November.  A basket will be provided in the foyer for the items.  The age categories for the boys and girls are (2-4 years old), (5-9 years old) and (10-14 years old).  Following are items needed each month:

JUNE - Hygiene Items - Toothbrush, toothpaste, mild bar soap (in a plastic bag), washcloth, comb, etc.

JULY - Toys for BOYS - Small cars, balls, stuffed animals, kazoos,
yo-yos, harmonicas, small Etch A Sketch, toys that light up or make noise (with extra batteries), Slinky, etc.

AUGUST - School Supplies - Pens, pencils and sharpener, crayons or markers, stamps and ink pad sets, writing pads or paper, coloring and picture books, solar calculators, etc.

SEPTEMBER - Toys for GIRLS - Dolls, balls, stuffed animals, kazoos, jump ropes, yo-yos, harmonicas, small Etch A Sketch, toys that light up or make noise (with extra batteries), Slinky, etc.

OCTOBER - Other - Hard candy and lollipops (please double bag all candy), mints, gum, socks, ball caps, T-shirts, sunglasses, hair clips, toy jewelry, watches, flashlights (with extra batteries)

NOVEMBER - Packing Supplies ? Shoe boxes, wrapping paper, tape, and finances to help with shipping of boxes

DO NOT INCLUDE:  Used or damaged items; war-related items such as toy guns, knives or military figures; chocolate or food; out-of-date candy; liquids or lotions; medications or vitamins, breakable items such as snow globes, or glass containers; aerosol cans.
