The Vision for this Project

Eight years ago God began to burden our hearts greatly for the Great Commission. We understood that the Lord was calling us to go into all the world, but we also agreed that the we must start in our own hometown. As we continued to pray the Lord gave us a vision for reaching families. In the past eight years God has reached many families in our community through the ministries of GSBC.
However, our current facilities have hindered some potential ministries.The Lord has now opened the door for us to move forward with a new family life center. This facility will be instrumental in enabling further ministries for families. During the week this facility will host small groups, community meetings, play dates, sporting events, coffee times, etc. On Sundays the facility will be transformed into a worship center. Our vision and purpose in all this is to see men, women, boys and girls come to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ and to grow in Him.

There are multiple ways that you can support this effort:

1. PRAY

   We covet your prayers over this entire project.  Pray that work proceeds on time and under budget.  Pray that Volunteers come forward for all aspects of the project.  Pray that giving in support of the project is strong and that we gather sufficient funds in a timely manner.  Pray for our leaders during this process:

2. VOLUNTEER

   Volunteer your time and resources.  We will be posting resources that are needed and we will soon post a links to forms for volunteering. Sharing your time and possessions will help this project be successful.

3. GIVE

   Support the Development effort Financially.  GSBC is working diligently to be a good steward of the resources that God has provided.  We are acting as our own General Contractor, we are operating extensively on Volunteer labor and we are seeking the best price for materials.  However, this Project is estimated to Cost over $1Million when complete.  Please, prayerfully seek whether it is the Lord's will that you contribute finances to the Building Fund.
